Alexander Great is a St. Louis-born, Milwaukee-raised, and Chicago-based DJ with a passion for people & creating positive vibes.
He’s built a music catalog that spans generations and genres, taking listeners on a unique journey through hip-hop, soul, funk, R&B, jazz, indie rock, deep house, and bops from all over Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa. He founded and hosts GOOD NEWS RADIO, an independent radio format mix series, highlighting fresh faces, sounds, & voices from diverse backgrounds, and co-founded Parallel Park Chicago, an outdoor music and comedy show.
Alexander performs for various brands, restaurants/bars, concerts, and special events including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sinfonietta, Hoxton Hotel, Freehand Hotel, Emporium Arcade Bars, The Pop Up, and The Whistler. Aside from his love for music, Alexander spends his time from 9-5 (and sometimes later) as a senior planner at FCB Chicago crafting strategic insights that illustrate the breadth and depth of the human experience.
