Reid Thomas Wagner, better known as Tapper, began his professional journey as a DJ in November 2023 upon returning to Chicago after four transformative months of studying in London. While immersed in London's legendary nightlife and musical scene, Tapper discovered his true calling by experiencing the electrifying energy of crowds at iconic clubs like Fabric, Koko, and Printworks. Tapper found inspiration in the sounds of influential artists like Kerri Chandler, Franky Wah, Indira Paganotto, and LTJ
Bukem.
Tapper has built his name through performing at several well respected venues in Chicago, including:
Celeste, Parlay, and Whispers at Oak Street Beach.
Additionally, he has performed internationally across the UK Europe, including locations such as: Dear Darling Mayfair and Helios London, The Manzoni and Mealthie Milano in Milan alongside DJ Joe Dena, and Sutton in Barcelona with Carlo Rewer. He has also played b2b with Fayln at Soho Beach House in Miami during Art Basel weekend, highlighting his versatility and ability to craft a captivating atmosphere in any setting.
At just 23 years old, Reid Thomas Wagner is quickly emerging as a rising star. His label and event company, Guest List Records (GLR), is still in its early stages but holds an exciting future. Tapper envisions GLR as a platform that unites emerging artists and creatives from around the globe, providing opportunities to collaborate and perform, where music and creativity can flow together seamlessly.
